Just as the title says. The only way I know how is using the Synapse 2.0 software and having to manually turn them on and off which is a pain. There is a check box that says turn lights off when display is off. Which I assume means if my monitor is off which doesn't work. Any suggestions or am I doomed?

Would they by any chance be plugged into a USB 3.0 port? If so, I'll suggest a USB 2.0 port since the 3.0 may be an "power always on" port

Mine do this too. It happens with other brands of mice / keyboards also, and usb version doesn't seem to matter. If I want it all off, I just switch off the power supply after shutting down, which cuts all power to the motherboard.

When it says 'shut off with display', I'm not 100% sure but I'm assuming this means when the display is disabled via power option settings, rather than physically turning off the monitor.

hi, i had the same issue for some time, mouse led would always be left on after shut down. i found the answer to my problem in my manual.my MB is a H87M pro, you may have similar..... re boot into bios by pressing F2......then then enter advanced settings...... and click advanced tab....... find APM in the list and select........the next list you should see BEEP S4 this will be disabled as default ......... enable this setting.........save and reboot......when you shut down this will turn off all USB and PS/2 devices at shut down.

worked for me, hope you have the same joy. :)

That means they're receiving power, you could plug it into a wall outlet and get the same results, so try what stupot recommended. You could also try different USB ports.
