i have bought samsung galaxy star advance android phone. it's default player can play only mp4 player. no pdf . so i want to download a good player with zoom etc like kmp player or vlc which could play most formats. a pdf reader which could read pdf files of computer without any change. and an app to use led flashlight as a torch when needed. but it is my first android device and my concern is that I don't want google to keep eyes on me. what is on my memory card or pictures I click. I don't want to be connected to internet on phone or use my google account. just make calls, messages, watch videos and take pictures. i want to keep phone personal. It is possible to download some useful apps without any account and keep using them even without internet connection like we do on computer. even if I use google account once for installing app and later disable it then will my apps work without any account or internet conncetion. I don't want anyone to know what is on my memory card or what I am doing on my phone. can apps be used on android device without further contact with internet like we can do on our computer.

There is a beta VLC for android, but I've never used it. It has 4.3 stars on Google play, though.

You can install the apps, and then turn of data and they will work.
