Should I move to GTX 970? [From Crossfire R9 280X]

So right now, I've got two R9 280x's in crossfire mode. I'm contemplating whether I should get the GTX 970 or stay with R9 280x. But do you guys tthink it's worth it buying the GTX 970? I may do an SLI config in the near future.

For performance reasons ? No.

A single 280x is just one tier below the 780 / 970
