So I Brought a Asus R9 280 GPU a few weeks ago and I'm a bit of a noob and overclocked it! but then I read all these thing saying that it can reduce life span dramatically so i have restored it back to factory settings! My question is if my GPU craps itself within the warranty time period do they know that I have Overclocked it before there for breaching the warranty???

Thanks

As long as you do not modify voltages, it will remain in warranty, however once you change the voltage, the warranty is void.

Then again they have no way of proving that it was overclocked. :)  At least MOST of the time.

Yeah I have changed it back to factory setting because I want the longest life span I can get :)
