Do I need to hook up both EATXV12_1 and EATXV12_2?

Title pretty much says it all.

I have a Asus Maximus VI, and they have the "ports" for both eatxv12_1 and eatxv12_2.

My PSU supports both power ports, do I need to plug both in?

It's reccomended to plug both in as your CPU will be more stable, especially if your PSU supports it.

They put 2 their for a reason and your power supply has the connections so yes use both.
System stability is a good thing.
