Yes bro, it is worth upgrading to Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti from AMD Radeon 7770. Not really but Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti is slightly better than AMD/ATI Radeon 7770. If you have set your mind to buy a GTX 750 Ti, then I suggest you to buy a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Zotac Thunderbolt 2GB Edition.

In terms of overall gaming performance, the graphical capabilities of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti Zotac Thunderbolt 2GB Edition are significantly better than the AMD Radeon HD 7770 Sapphire Edition.

The GTX 750 Ti has a 229 MHz higher core clock speed and the same number of Texture Mapping Units as the HD 7770. This results in the GTX 750 Ti providing 9.2 GTexel/s better texturing performance. This still holds weight but shader performance is generally more relevant, particularly since both of these GPUs support at least DirectX 10.

The GTX 750 Ti has a 229 MHz higher core clock speed than the HD 7770 and the same number of Render Output Units. This results in the GTX 750 Ti providing 3.7 GPixel/s better pixeling performance. However, both GPUs support DirectX 9 or above, and pixeling performance is only really relevant when comparing older cards.

The GTX 750 Ti was released over a year more recently than the HD 7770, and so the GTX 750 Ti is likely to have better driver support, meaning it will be more optimized for running the latest games.

The GTX 750 Ti has 1024 MB more video memory than the HD 7770, so is likely to be much better at displaying game textures at higher resolutions. This is supported by the fact that the GTX 750 Ti also has superior memory performance overall.

The GTX 750 Ti has 24.1 GB/sec greater memory bandwidth than the HD 7770, which means that the memory performance of the GTX 750 Ti is slightly better than the HD 7770.

Both the GeForce GTX 750 Ti Zotac Thunderbolt 2GB Edition and the Radeon HD 7770 Sapphire Edition have 640 Shader Processing Units. While the two GPUs have the same number of SPUs, the actual performance delivered by the . Knowing that the shader performance of the GTX 750 Ti is superior, it is not necessary to examine the GPUs' respective Texture and Pixel Fill Rates.

The GeForce GTX 750 Ti Zotac Thunderbolt 2GB Edition requires 90 Watts to run and the Radeon HD 7770 Sapphire Edition requires 80 Watts. I would recommend a PSU with at least 400 Watts for the GTX 750 Ti and a PSU with at least 500 Watts for the HD 7770. The GTX 750 Ti requires 10 Watts more than the HD 7770 to run. The difference is not significant enough for the GTX 750 Ti to have a noticeably larger impact on your yearly electricity bills than the HD 7770.
