Gaming PC won't turn on?

Hello,
A few days ago I attempted to power on my gaming pc however, it turned on momentarily and then shut itself back off. I decided to leave it alone and fix it later as I had more important things to do. A day later, I came back and realised both my screens refused to turn on and I thought it was the 3 sockets however, others devices still work fine. I immediately thought it was my power supply (Corsair VS550) and decided to smell around. I found that my psu has a faint burning smell however, I am pretty sure it smelt like that when I bought it. What is going on? Why is nothing turning on? I am scared to try and turn both my screens and PC back on just incase it breaks, if not already broken. New power supply?

Specs:
AMD A10-5800K @ 4 GHZ from stock 3.8 (no voltage increase)
8 GB of Team Group 1600 MHZ ram.
Sapphire R7 260X
Gigabyte motherboard
Corsair VS550
WD 1TB HDD

Thanks!

Your monitors do not turn on at all or power on but get no signal? If there is no power to them at all, and your PC is also not turning on, sounds like a power outlet or cord issue. A dead PC would not cause the monitors not to power up also.
