my motherboard is gigabyte GA-h55m-S2v
rev-1.4 with dual channel ddr3 . it has 1 stick of 2gb ram .i bought another 2gb ram of the same model and inserted it on the open slot . after that there is a ringing sound when i turn then comp on. i remove the new inserted ram and comp works perfectly fine. i removed the old ram and put the new ram instead and it works perfectly fine . but when i have both ram slots occupied there is a ringing sound when i turn on the power.
please let me know if you need anymore info

Say the exact model of the new RAM you bought. Or post a link of that.

I think that model is not compatible with you motherboard. The stick you bought is JM1333KLN-2G but the support list has JM1333KLU-2G.. This might be the problem. But it worked when used alone, so wait.
