Hi, I have an Asus GTX770-dc2oc-2gd5 GPU and I wanted to overclock it.

However I am unable to change it's core clock, temp target or anything really. Everything stays at the default settings that asus put in. I tried doing it with Asus GPUTweak, EVGA Precision and even MSI Afterburner and none of them seemed to have any effect on the clockspeeds whatsoever.

I also tried changing settings with dual intelligent processors which came with my mobo (asus maximus hero VII) and those settings also don't apply.

Whatever I change in the settings, nothing happens, maxing out ever single option doesn't even have an effect at all.

I'm at a loss here, is my card faulty and locked? Or do some of my programs conflict? (Like dual intelligent processors and the GPUTweak for example)

That card is not locked and can be overclocked using ASUS GPU tweak. If yours won't overclock you are either not clicking "save" after you change the settings or you have a bad card.

After I click save in gputweak and select a profile to save them in I see the settings reset to the default. I guess this means I got a bad card?

I've kept the program running and it runs at startup the problem is my settings never get saved. When I press apply the program shows the settings I set but when I test it with gpu-z or a benchmark nothing changed (for example when I set the memory clocj higher than 7010MHz it still caps at that) and when I press save and then select the profile to save the current settings to it still resets to the default settings.

I don't think you actually read the thread at the link I provided. You need to check next to "start up" or "run at startup". After you do that, when you click to save the profile, it should save it. If the startup option is disabled, it won't save the profile.

Okay so I did that and set it up so the settings remained after shutting down and rebooting in GPUTweak. However I don't seem to get any difference at all, GPU-Z still gives me the default values although I applied my new settings in GPUTweak, I also still can't save in any profile because that just resets all settings.

I'd contact ASUS. It seems like this is a software issue though, not hardware. It could be hardware. Something could be locked up that's not supposed to be. Maybe try uninstalling all the NVidia drivers using Display driver uninstaller (Google it) and reinstall the latest NVidia drivers for your card afterwards. Also uninstall all the other utilities you tried including the GPU tweak, before doing the GPU drivers, then reinstall GPU tweak after you use display driver uninstaller and reinstall the GPU drivers and try again with the settings. Could be the display driver or one of the utilities is causing issues.
