Hey guys I'm doing my first PC build and I was wondering whether I should do a geforce gtx 660 Sli or just get a radeon r9 280x

Note: I'm using an Intel i5 4440 and a corsair cx600 PSU. I'm not keen to change these.

Thnx in advance.

Your PSU is not good enough for SLI setup in first place, CX is known to fail at high loads, so upgrading to a single GPU is the best option. R9 280X or 285 are a sweet buy due to price cuts right now, and your PSU can handle it. The next upgrade should be your PSU though. But currently, 280X will be my advise.

CM Thunder is even worse than CX. A big no no.
