i have the same problem of usb write protected, i used regedit but i could't found StorageDevicePolicies, then i created by new key form control properly, when i modifying writeprotect value then there is already a value of 0, i recreated but i couldn't get rid from writeprotected. i used cmd diskpart but there is no my usb divice. plz help what should i do to fix write protected problem from usb..

First try the easy route - - buy a new pen drive.
