Hello, I'm looking to make some upgrades to my gaming PC as some of the newer releases begin to flow in. I currently have a radeon r9 270 that has done very well for me. So much so I was considering purchasing another and run them in crossfire. The other option i thought would be to buy a GTX 970. Which will give the best performance and which option is the most "future-proof"? Thanks!

GTX 970 would give more performance, help yourself with some benchmarks, and it'd be more future proof, since tri CFX of 270s doesn't make much sense, but SLI 970 would kill any single GPU and most dual CFX or SLI GPUs right now. It draws 150W so it'd be much more efficient, while providing tons of power.

GTX 970 has 4 GB VRAM . Get it ! Single card is better

GTX 970 - 15690 points
R9 270 - 7890 points
