Hello everyone, this is my first time ever building a pc. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys let me know if this is a good build or not, and If you can point out any incompatibility issues please do so. Also any recommendations will be greatly appreciated as well.

I'd swap out the 780 for a 970. It's cheaper and faster, and it has more VRAM.

Everything else looks good!

EDIT: Like this:

Thanks for the help! I still have one question, why is the 780 more expensive than the 980 which supposedly has better specs?

Because the retailer hasn't dropped the price yet. That or limited quantities.

This is probably a bit overkill, CPU wise, for just gaming, but wanted to show another option for only a little more than the original build. Swap to a 4690k if you don't think you will need/want an the i7.

There seems to be a problem, will the gigabyte gtx 970 windforce fit in the fractal define r4 case with a MSI Z97 gaming 7 mobo?

It'll fit, but you may not be able to use all of the drive bays.

Hmm... Will I be able to at least use the drive bays in the bottom of the case and remove the drive bays on the top?
