Hi,

So I currently work from home but am moving to an office that I have bought. So I have two work computers, one at home and one at work. I would like all my files in one spot so that when I edit them at the office they will be changed when I get home as well.

I have a pc that I don't use anymore with pretty decent specs at the moment that I was thinking of turning into a server and install windows server onto this. I was thinking of VPN into it and have the files stored on there? I would like it so that I could just logon and click in my computer and my drive from this server is there?

My question is what is the best option to do this and I need help ASAP THANKYOU

You can setup a remote connection via Teamviewer or such apps, and use the intended computer as a file server. Owncloud is a good client for syncing and transferring files and stuff. Your computer needs to be up all the time, so make sure the components are not too weared out and you have a decent power supply.

That wouldn't work for me as I would like the drives on the server to me in my computer on the other computers
