First I thought it was a bad USB port or keyboard, have a GA-H57M-USB3 motherboard.
After switching port, I get a 'numlock' light but keyboard completely non-responsive. I have a second identical keyboard, identical problem. Uninstalled the keyboard driver, reinstalled the Microsoft drivers (fresh download), still no response.
Plugged in a cheap-o Amazon keyboard and everything is fine.
Occasionally I get a DRIVER_STATE_POWER_FAILURE blue-screen, re-cycling power on everything works again. (Windows 8.1)
My question: Is there an easy way to troubleshoot drivers other than eliminating them one-by-one? The blue-screen happens every few weeks or so, nothing consistent. Second is related to the first, can I get back the use of the Natural Keyboard? (This Amazon cheap-o is irritating to use...) Thanks!
