I recently purchased Call of Duty 2 (2005) to install on my Windows 7 64Bit PC. I know my computer can definitely handle this game.

--------------------------------------------
What i did step by step;

Step 1:
Installed the game via "Open" (on CDROM) and selected "setup.exe" (AutoRun.exe would not work for some reason) On completion I quickly checked it, it worked fine.

Step 2:
Uninstalled game because i realized it was on my SSD drive, wanted it on my HDD.

Step 3:
Re Installed with "Custom Install" because i didn't want it directed into the C: Drive where i install all my games. After "Next" it began removing files from the directory i gave it, (which was B:/Program Files/), already a little unsure as to the "removing" part, this "removing" process got stuck at about 70% for a couple of mins, so i cancelled it. Checked the directory, nothing had changed.

Step 4:
Tried to Install again, but now all that happens is the initail "Call of Duty 2" logo/loading image, before a message that reads:
Error -1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime
----------------------------------------------

I found this when searching for a solution:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910816#LetMeFixItMyself...
but the Fix It program hasn't worked, and i cant do any of the "fix my self" steps Microsoft has provided. I can give you detail on what happens when i attempt those steps, if you would like.

Please Help me :(
Cheers for reading,
Joe
