Hello guys. I bought a gtx 760 direct cu 2 edition 2 months back with an i5 4570 processor. Till now i have been able to play every game, comepletely maxed out on my 900p old monitor with a stable 45-55 fps.. however i have saved up enough cash to get a 23"1080p monitor, was just wondering if that would be a wise thing to do... considering my gpu is not that high-end.. so should i get the new LED or stick with the old one and enjoy games at ultra settings...need your opinions..thank you :)

More about : monitor good idea

With the GTX 760 at 1080p you can play most titles at very high settings at 60fps no problem. It is a good choice to go for a 1080p monitor.

Have a look at this http://youtu.be/GvAmOlSSU-8?t=2m20s

Well not sure about them until benchmarks are out but for GTA 5 you will definitely be better off on AMD cards since it will have AMD mantle support and will be AMD optimised.

Most likely you can play on high settings at least (if not ultra)

you are running a powerhouse card hd 7970 on fx-6300..you dont face any bottle-necking?? and here i had people drilling into my head that fx 8320 would bottleneck a r9 280x. r9-280x + fx 8320 was my other alternative...but everywhere people kept saying intel + nvidia provide smoother performance

Nope no bottlenecking for me.
