You can crossfire
Yes use your old SSD
Stock will be fine
Get a cheap Z97 mobo ($70-$100)
Your pc will run it in ultra

why an overpowered CPU paired with a mid-range GPU ????? if you plan on gaming, a GPU is way more important than a CPU.

You shoule get and i5. it will give you the same performance as a i7 but for about $100 off, you can put that toward getting a R9 280

The motherboard does support crossfire, you'd be better off with a single strong card though.

Yes you can use the old HDD.

The stock heatsink might be a little noisy, but it will cool it fine at stock settings.

Honestly you probably don't even need a RoG board so the ranger is fine.

Impossible to tell with AC:U, it could be locked to 30FPS even on PC - we'll see. A 270x would have respectable framerates at high setting @ 1080p, but not the best.

I feel like you're spending your money in the wrong places. If it's just for gaming, you'll see little-to-no difference between an i5 4690k and an i7 4790k at the same clock speed. You probably don't need a motherboard as expensive as the Republic of Gamers series, especially if you're not overclocking. There are a lot of other Z97 options available - if you're not overclocking even the H97 chipset would be good. Also is that 1 x 8 GB of RAM, or 2 x 4 GB? 2x4 would be better.

Ultimately, you should spend more on your Graphics Card. It will determine gaming performance more than any other component. Something like a GTX 770/R9280(x)/R9 290 would be better for you, if you just get a cheaper CPU and motherboard like I suggested.

Edit: Wow, I must take a long time to type.

1) Yes 270x can definitely be crossfired (up to 2 way) but your PSU won't support it. I suggest a 750W or 800W for best results. It is worth it, but instead I suggest getting the most powerful single GPU you can afford right now.....much better performance and longevity.

2) Yes of course, if its SATA you can just plug it into your board for extra space.

3) With the 4790k and heavy gaming I strongly suggest at least a basic aftermarket cooler. There are some cheaper options out there that you can get for now and then upgrade later if overclocking (if you OC this PSU isn't good either)

4) Yes you can run unity on max settings without AA at 1080p @ 60 fps. Have a look at this http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2139639/asus-m....

Advise :
Make sure you have enough airflow in your case.
Get a better PSU
Make sure the 320GB drive is free from viruses etc before you hook it up with the new system.

P.S What SSD are you getting?

CPU:
Great Choice for Gaming and Video Editing, Not so great choice if You're just gaming. If you're just gaming, save yourself $100 and get the i5-4690K. Almost same performance, but for a lot less.

CPU Cooler: (WARNING)
The Stock Heatsink Fan is only good at STOCK Settings. It will not last long when you start Overclocking. I would say a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or Corsair H100i (If you can afford it) will be good for cooling down your system when Overclocking.

Motherboard: (WARNING)
Total Overkill. You do not need that high of a motherboard unless you plan on being an enthusiast and SLI/Crossfiring. There are better motherboards for the money that won't eat your Wallet out.

RAM:
8GB is Good, 1600Mhz is also good. Crucial Ballistix Sport is a great option at $75.

Storage:
A 320 GB HDD Will do okay, but in terms of space, you will need a lot more. It's better for you to spend $55 on a Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB drive.

SSD:
Good idea. Make sure you install your OS onto your SSD and watch your OS Boot up in a flash!

Graphics Card: (WARNING)
You're better off buying a R9 280X or GTX 970. You will get much better graphics performance. You are cheaping out on the GPU, and that's a Really bad thing.

Second, Yes, you can crossfire a R9 270X, but in the end, you are wasting more money for little performance improvement when you can just get a better graphics card.

Power Supply:
650W is a good balance, and that Corsair is a really good choice.

Operating System: (CAUTION)
I'm okay with you using Windows 8.1, but my brother has it and hasn't had a really good experience with it. Save a bit of your sanity and stick with Windows 7 for now.

Suggestive Changes:
-CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K ($229.99 @ Amazon)
-CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ($29.99 @ Newegg)
-Motherboard: MSI Z97M-G43 ($108.99 @ Amazon)
-RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB-1600 RAM ($74.99 @ Amazon)
-HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB Drive ($54.99 @ Amazon)
-GPU: MSI R9 280X GAMING 3G ($259.99 @ Newegg)
-Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium ($89.99 @ NCIXUS)

Hope this helps.

I should have mentioned this- that the pc is not just for gaming and I would be sticking to the i7
also I have a genuine windows 8 already . and im used to it.
the mobo im getting for cheap~~200$ and a basic z97 also cost arounf 150$
I might overclock in the future when 4.4ghz is not enough.
r9 270x I know aint the best choice but it is the best that my budget allows me right now.
ram - 2x4 costs more. I will add another dimm after some time - corsair vengeance 1600mhz
I will add another hdd later but will have my formatted 320gb sata for now
actually I already have many ext. hdd with me for storage.
if any more tips on the gpu part plz tell.

my hp monitor has a 1440x900 resolution display thru dvi

If you've already made up your mind then the thread was kind of pointless.

edit: If the uses other than gaming do not advantage of the hyper threading the i7 has, stick with the i5. If you do see the note below:

As others have said before, make room for a better GPU by getting an i5. There will be a minimal loss in gaming performance from going from a i7 to an i5 compared to large loss going from a GTX 770/R9 280x to a R9 270x.

I'm assuming this isn't for editing/rendering since you only have 8GB of ram.

is gtx 760 good enough.
the i7 is important as yes there would be light video editing , no rendering. also im interested in the particular model ie.4790k as for it has a high clock and one of the best in performance and it would ensure that it doesn't get useless after couple of years.
as for ram I will add more dims
and I might also overclock after some time.
for the gpu I know for gaming it is a way more important component for gaming but my budget for a gpu is also tight. so would you advice me to wait a bit and then buy when the good ones gets a little cheaper .
