Hi,

i'm considering to buy a usb-hub(2.0) to mount my mouse and keyboard to, because i often need to switch alot them between my desktop and my laptop which i will be using on the same screen.
Will a hub slow my mouse speed and/or keyboard down or not?
Is this the best solutions to use the same mouse and keyboard on 2 computers.
I guess i wont be using them at the same time... maybe sometimes to render somle movies on the desktop or other things like that.

Thanks in advance, Thibault

No, USB 2.0 has 60MB/s bandwidth which's more than fine for transferring axis locations and clicks (for mouse) and key taps (for keyboard), you can theorotically hook ten of them (provided they can be powered up) w/o worrying about performance.
So in a nutshell, no issues with hooking two of them on a hub :)
