LAN Network, Unidentified Network, Does not have a valid Ip configuration

I have a Lenovo tablet and it has an option to connect to internet via computer's network connection via USB. when i connect it to the computer via USB, a new network connection comes up named "Local Network Area Connection 3". I click on my computers network connection and check the "allow other users .." and something like that on sharing tab. then the local area connection network 3 shows "unidentified network" and when i troubleshoot it says that the connection does not have a valid ip address.
 
Solution
Best option here to make sure the network connection is configured to get settings from DHCP server. To do this, go to following:

Control Panel --> Network and Internet --> Network and Sharing Center

Once in network and sharing center you should see "Change Adapter settings", you should see multiple icons named "ethernet" or something similar. Right click on it, click properties. Once in properties there will be a box in middle with a bunch of lines. Look for the line that says "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP), click this option to high light it, below the box with all the listings there is another properties button, click this. In this properties box make sure both sets of options are set to automatic.
