Hi there,

I posted a while back about my computer experiencing some mysterious errors and have half discovered the problem, but am still experiencing slow loading times and random display crashes - Removing old HDD stopped fail to boot and multicoloured lines at top of display.

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2253570/boot-b... for specs and things.

This usually happens when watching youtube videos. The screen will either just go grey with audio still available, or the screen will go grey and the audio will make a continuous noise as if its stuttering over itself. hard to describe but its just a constant loud noise, kind of like an alarm...

Also the most noticeable symptom is that when loading into a game of smite it takes FAR longer than it used to and anyone else that is loading in - dunno if that helps in the diagnosis at all.

I have tried literally everything i can think of, who crashed is not helping me as the error logs arent written out (maybe its because i have to manually reset pc and it doesnt just cut out) i dont know...

ive tried different gfx cards, ram. ran tests on cpu and still nothing is showing where the error is coming from. I really am at the end of my tether with this and am considering just buying a new MB and CPU (but am hesitant in case that does not solve it)

The graphics card is a R9 280x which i recently bought.

Also i keep getting errors on event manager and this one happens on every boot:

that's a tough one I do feel its a application issue I would almost go for the chipset driver issue seeing you changed out some vid cards and no change my intel rigs don't seem to have that isct thing installed but I could of unchecked that and never installed it [ I do custom installs so I can weed things I don't feel is needed just the basics of what the board needs only]
then after all that it may be down to something on the board if failing

i have uninstalled the ISCT stuff as it seems like a waste of time to be honest...i only installed it when i did the fresh restall just to see if it fixed any of those issues. now i have uninstalled it that error no longer comes up...i am however getting:

WLAN Extensibility Module has failed to start.

Module Path: C:\Windows\system32\Rtlihvs.dll
Error Code: 126

i have reinstalled the Realtek drivers for the on-board ethernet and i dont think that has solved this either.

looking at msi for your board all I would load is these one at a time and test as I go

Intel Chipset Driver

Intel Management Engine Driver

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver

Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Drivers

Intel USB3.0 Driver

well all I can do is try -- these things happen and sometimes they may not last that long -- it could be the board and it seems like you been fighting the software as much as you could so I guess you may be down to taking a chance on a new board and keep your fingers crossed on that being it
