what is my Ram frequency? CPUZ says my RAM is 800 Mhz CR 1T not 1600 Mhz.

Yesterday I bought a Crosai 4 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3 RAM. But when I checked CPUZ shows only 800 Mhz CR - 1T.

I would understand if the command rate was 2T. But its showing 1T. Am I missing something?

Can someone please confirm if it 800 or 1600?

It's 1600Mhz, the RAM is DDR3, meaning double data rate. 800*2=1600Mhz. CPU-Z only displays single rate. You're all good. 1T is not related to speed.

then what is the difference DDR2 v DDR3?
I thought command rate 2T means 2 x 800. Thanks for the clarification.

It does not. From user MadModMike:
"1T means it takes 1 clock cycle to "find" a memory bank, vs. 2T where it takes 2 clock cycles to "find" the memory bank"

DDR3 has higher bandwidth and latency than DDR2. DDR2 has higher bandwidth and latency than DDR but they are all double data rate (DDR).
DDR2 topped out at 1066 MHz (533 MHz) I think
