Hi everyone.

I received my PC parts and am working on building my first desktop! However, I have run in a bit of a problem. My motherboard should be all ready to go and I wanted to test it (B85M-G). However, it doesn't seem to be working. There's a light burning om my motherboard and one on my graphics card (Nvidia 760).

I am now unsure which pins to tap with my screwdriver to test boot.. I tried with what I thought were the power pins but nothing happens. Fan doesn't go on, nothing on my screen etc.

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Might something be installed wrong, might I be missing some connection, etc?

Please do let me know if you need more information. I am 100% newbie on this and I really don't know what to do now.

light burning? Are all of you power connectors plugged it? 24 pin 8 or 4 cpu pin. Pcie to your graphics? You power pins should be labled on the header

Sorry. I tried a different screwdriver to power up and now it worked xD I dont know how but oh well. The fans are now spinning!

However, still nothing on screen. My monitor is connected to electricity (NOT PSU), and the VGA is connected to both my monitor and the motherboard. The monitor shows standby and says ''no input signal''. Any thoughts?

Connect it to your 760 not your mainboard

I tried, but I couldnt find an appropiate connection in my 760 for a VGA entrance. Should there be one? I tried many many times and after a while I just noticed a port on my motherboard where it fits.

TLDR: I dont see a VGA port on my 760 :\

But shouldn't it just work if I connect it to my motherboard?
