So yes, you can use LGA 771 65nm quads, the 53xx series. However, you must change the CPU coolers if you want to use the 5355 or the 5365, as they have 120W and 150W TDP respectively (and do a good airflow around the VRM area). Also, the PSU should be changed (if you still have the 800W DELTA PSU and the PC wasn't utilized 24/7, it is OK)
