My not even 1 year old gaming computer, custom built has been acting up on me recently. When I would play a game it would occasionally randomly without warning or message, restart my computer. I mean RESTART not shutdown. I researched this problem and it does point towards my PSU which is a Corsair HX 850W Silver. The Event Viewer will list the critical error as a Kernel-Power - Event 41 problem which still points towards my PSU. My Motherboard would automatically overclock my CPU when I first installed it (without telling me too) to 4.8ghz, but after watching the temperature under-load, I let it overclock. However even when I disable that now, when I launch any game that tends to be a graphics whore, it wont even take long to shut off on me, 4 seconds flat sometimes, the moment 3D is viewed. Keep in mind this hasnt happen in the past, only now recently.

So my question is, is it really my PSU? Here is my specs

OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: Intel i7 4770K
PSU: Corsair HX 850W Silver
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce Nvidia Geforce 760GTX 4GB
Ram: currently only 8 (2x4gb)
Case: Phantom 417 - It has 1 140m fan LED, but the other 5 are non LED
Has 1 HDD, 1T and 2 128gb SSD
I don't even have CD Drive Attached attached

So, if I do need to replace PSU, what would you guys recommend? I thought maybe getting a different 850W Gold would be suffice, as I partly believe my PSU is just defective in a way, but I want professional opinions.
