best settings for GTX 770 GPU.. looking for the best tweaks to the nvidia control panel..

I have the same GPU that you have. You said you don’t fully understand the control panel on the NVidia card but each setting shows complete description that what actually it does, you will see on the bottom of the panel before changing anything just hovering your mouse pointer on any option. Although I’m giving you settings by which you will get Maximum Output from your GPU. Go to manage 3D settings in control panel then choose Global Settings (do not touch program settings). Choose the settings below and Just apply this. This settings for The Highest Quality Output.

Ambient Occlusion – Quality
Anisotropic Filtering – 16X
Antialiasing FXAA – ON
Antialiasing Gamma Correction – ON
Antialiasing Mode – Override Any Application Setting
Antialiasing Setting – 32X CSAA
Antialiasing Transparency – 8X (supersample)
CUDA GPUs – All
DSR Factors – Don’t Touch it for Playing Newer Games, enabling this High Res Option will consume your V Ram Dramatically. 2 GB V Ram just a NO GO. (BUT YOU ARE THE BOSS, DO WHAT YOU WISH)
Maximum Pre-rendered Frames – 4
Multi-Display/Mixed-GPU Acceleration – Single Display Performance Mode
Power Management Mode – Prefer Maximum Performance
Shader Cache – ON
Texture Filtering Negative LOD Bias – Clamp
Texture Filtering Quality – High Quality
Threaded Optimization – Auto
Triple Buffering – ON
Vertical Sync – ON or Adaptive
Virtual Reality Pre-rendered Frames – (Leave it to 1)

***You will see some options not accessible or dimmed, DON’T WORRY those are linked with others you just set to MAX. This settings will give you Highest Quality Output when you Play Games. You may notice your games are running slow after this settings but you will also notice Fantastic Graphics, yes it should be as now the GPU is working for BEST QUALITY not for best performance, don’t mess it up!,,, Quality and Performance are completely different, Never think Performance means High Quality but this is something which KILLS QUALITY to make games run smooth. If you see your games are running a bit slow DON’T CHANGE THE SETTING YOU JUST APPLIED ON CONTROL PANEL but change video settings in the game, MAX OUT EVERYTHING but just Turn Off or Reduce ANTIALIASING Setting.
