Hello,

So I currently have a mac mini 2009 and am about to order a high end PC and just have one question. My mac mini is currently being displayed on a 2005 30" apple cinema display. The new PC I am looking at has a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970 4GB EVGA Superclocked ACX cooler edition. And as I was researching I learned that the apple display requires dual DVI to run at optimal resolution. I then saw that the gtx 970 has DVI-D and DVI-I. Will the gtx 970 be able to run the cinema at 2560x1600(Optimal Resolution)?

Thanks in Advanced

Ok I will look into getting one from a different company. But does the GTX970 support dual link DVI in general?

I personally think it should be able to run a Cinema display as a GTX970 is pretty strong.

yes..... DVI-I is integrated digital and analog, hence the "I" ... it has the 4 extra pins on the right you see in the image below ..... DVI-D is missing the 4 pins and is digital only

The MSI card has one of each
