Files not visible, need help!

We are running Windows 7 on all our workstations and Windows Server 2012 on our server. We are also running a network printer, copier, scanner. My boss will scan a document in to a folder on the server, but when he goes to look at it from his computer it doesnt show up. There are other files in the directory and he can see those fine, just not the newly scanned documents. Also, I have jumped on several other workstations and am able to see and access the files without any issue. Its only on his workstation. Whats going on?
