Will intel graphics play

world of tanks
planetside 2
other free to play games

medium, no filter, 40fps

im thinking of a build like this

i5 broadwell
hero
ram
h440/something else
antec/evga 850w/1000w
monitor
dvd
mouse,keyboard,etc

now this should come to 600$/700$ i can use this christmas/black friday with deals(i might win a 980 to if im lucky)

I will be saving up for these upgrades

dual monitors( should i, anyone with experience on dual monitors can you explain how good these are)
r9 390x/380x or cfx of r9 380x/390x
custom waterloop.

will the intel graphics suffice i wanted a apu since they have great on board gpu's and will get better with HBM, but i needed power from a intel cpu.

More about : intel graphics good

World of tanks you should be able to play at low to medium settings and get at least 30 fps. As for planetside 2 I highly doubt it. I had to run it at the lowest settings possible at 720 in order to get 40 fps. I was using an a10 5700 by the way. Team fortress, killing floor and left 4 dead should all sadly run at at least 30 fps no problem.

I don't know about world of tanks, but intel 4000 graphics will definitely not run planetside 2. My 555m on my laptop barely does.

Second - Why a 850-1000w setup? That seems a bit extreme for your your average nonoverclock, non SLI build. You could take the extra cash and put it into something else.

This build will run planetside 2 on high, ultra settings with no filters If you want to upgrade to an i5 in the future, you could replace the FX with an i3.

Indys build looks good. If you really want an i5 though you could buy a cheaper GPU like a r9 250x or a gtx 650 and put the extra cash towards an i5.

So basically to answer your question yes Intels integrated graphics will be able to play some games at 720 with low settings for the time being. Although the r9 300 series won't be out for a few months you could always buy an r7 250 and use it for now and a back gpu in case you ever need it.

To be quite honest I would play intel and save up like 130 and get a 750 ti . I think you will want one and the longer it takes to save the more you will appreciate having it lol.

He plans on buying 2 390xs when the release so no point in spending too much money on a gpu that's being replaced in 3 months.

thank you guys i will be buying a lot of this stuff black friday so i will get some great deals. i would buy used or that 650(i want my system to be new but a hold over gpu will be okay) and yes i will be sporting a 390x or 390x cfx(dont know yet if i add 8gb of ram, dual monitor and a r9 390x it will be a single card, then a r9 390x cfx and water cooling loop boy and i will give away the 650 or sell it(if the resell is less than 40$ then i will give it you guys and give everyone on this thread like 5 bonus entries or something and you guys can do whatever you want with it)
