So I own a Microsoft Life-Cam 6000 and I have been recording myself on my gaming PC to do interviews and such. And sometimes when talking to my brother over webchat I play some games such as Battlefield 4. The things is that the webcam is very jittery and not smooth when the lighting is bad or I am running a game. It looks like I am kinda "lagging" ( i know you cant lag offline) but this is the only word I can use to describe it. The whole thing is just weird.
I have a FX 6300 and R9 270 GPU.
I could

A. Reinstall Drivers
B. Reinstall the OS
C. Get a better Webcam

or would any of these not solve the problem? What do you guys recommend.

Don't waste your time here. They didn't help my question and it's been since the 10th that is hasn't been looked at. I would try uninstalling the drivers for the cam,use CCleaner to wipe off any "left behind" files from the cam installation. Reboot your system and try reinstalling the software and test your cam, still having issues then try doing a OS re=install (that could take a good chunk of your time) and if you are STILL having problems then I'd plunk down the cash and buy another webcam. Recently my microphone on my webcam refuses to work but it will work on other PCs...just not mine. There is some sort of software malfunction. I made a thread about it and didn't get a response.if what I said hasn't worked then do what I plan...
