PSU is not great quality. Replace it with an Antec, XFX, Seasonic unit.

What games do you plan to play? the Pentium has some stuttering issues that render certain games completely unplayable.

You need to change the PSU to the brands I mentioned earlier.

the first build is better for those games and once you change the PSU it will be great.

So you recommend that I choose Intel Pentium over AMD Athlon?

Is there a certain Antec PSU that you suggest I use instead?

Get an XFX550 for the PSU.

I DO NOT recommend a Pentium for the games you want to play. I misspoke in my last post, thinking this was a different thread.

The Athlon build is definitely the better choice for those games.

^That PSU is as bad or worse than the CX500. Change it for sure. Also, that board is not great. The Non-LE version is what you want. The LE version has poor phasing and no VRM heatsink.

tiny voices

He is on the thin budge.

You cannot possibly get everything he wanted within 500 dollars and still have better performance.

My build above is already more than his budge by a little.

This is another build
