Hello,
I'm going to upgrade my PC. I choose the AMD FX 4300 for buy. But I'm confused about which MOBO will suite for my present & future update.
AMD FX 4300
Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB 1866MHz DDR3
Thermaltake Contac 21

I ALREADY HAVE:-
Samsung Syncmaster 933SN Plus DVI monitor
ASUS Raedon HD5450 DDR3 1GB
1x500GB WD HDD
1x3TB Seagate HDD
1xLG Sata DVD-RW
Zebronics 450W PSU

FOR MOBO????
ASRock 970 Extreme4
OR
ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0
OR
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P

ASRock have Instant Boot, XFast USB, XFast LAN, XFast RAM features.
But Gigabyte have 8+2phase power design compared to ASRock 4+1 power design.
I heard ASRock has problem with FX-8350. Is that true?
I'm not going to OC, but I only buy any one of these only.
Which one I choose for my future upgrade?

Thank You

If you're thinking in future upgrades, the AM3+ platform is not the way to go. AM3+ is a dead socket.

You should consider using the FM2+ platform which is the current one from AMD. Right now there's the Athlon X4 860K which is cheap and offer better performance than all other quad-core from AMD.

Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz/4.0GHz Kaveri: Passmark Multi threaded Score: 5834 / Single threaded Score: 1572

FX-4300 3.8GHz/4.0GHz Vishera: Passmark Multi threaded Score: 4711 / Single threaded Score: 1420

The FM2+ socket is compatible with the upcoming Carrizo APUs/CPUs. Use this platform if you want to stay budget.

If you want to upgrade to a high performance CPU, you'll be better with Intel LGA 1150. The Core i3-4150 is also a good budget CPU, a bit more expensive, but also with good performance:

Core i3-4150 3.5GHz Haswell: Passmark Multi threaded Score: 5008 / Single threaded Score: 2048

FX-4300 3.8GHz/4.0GHz Vishera: Passmark Multi threaded Score: 4711 / Single threaded Score: 1420

When want to go higher in performance, you'll have Core i5 and i7 as an option. Also, LGA1150 is compatible with the upcoming Broadwell CPUs.

Thank You Brunostako
FM2+ way too more expensive for my tight budget. My maximum budget is only 18,000 INR (290$) that include CPU, MOBO & RAM.
I already think about i3 4130 (4150 little more expensive for me), but it is only Dual Core. I think if I buy this i3, it will not help me to play (at-least in lower settings) COD Ghost with my current ASUS Raedon HD5450 DDR3 1GB GPU
Now I completed COD Black Ops 2 with my current AMD Athlon X2 & 2GB DDR2 Ram.
That's why I choose AMD.

Nope, both the 860K and the i3-4150 strong enough to manage 1080p mid settings, because most of the job is done by the GPU.

The problem you have is your GPU, the HD 5450 is extremely weak, no matter what CPU you use.

And yes, it is a 2 core CPU, but it's Hyper threaded, so it works as a 4-core CPU. That's why it performs better than the FX-4300 at multi threading.
