Not sure if you seen my previous threads but i am bit worried of my brand new gaming rig. My CPU doesnt reach over 50C degrees while on 100% stress test. I am using H100i but still i think its too low. Also when i play games i for example BF3 I get 50max FPS and i have gtx 970. But then when i restarted my PC FPS went up to 110 avg. IDK maybe its driver failiure or something.
Also today i played BF3 and Crysis on Ultra all with 60+ fps and fine. Then i over night i let download BF4 and in the morining i ran it on Ultra and got only 45 FPS with Vsync off and it wasnt going ower 45. GPU usage isnt at max.
Ugh...Help me somebody? Any tests u recommend to test?

I wish I have those low temp 50C cpu under load (cpu?).
- 50C at what cpu speed? It's above 80C is what you should worried about.
- Are you using FRAPS for fps monitoring?
- When you want to play BF3, BF4 or any games with intensive graphics, you may wanna tweak you Nvidia Control Panel - Manage 3D Setting... There you can add your games in the list.. You may also set the graphic card as you default gpu than Intel HD.

My CPU is at apparently 4,2ghz under stress test using Intel Extreme tuning utility from MSI. And yes 50C. Although i think there is something wrong. I am using Nvidia Shadowplay FPS counter to check FPS.

I will check the settings for BF4 as i already tweaked BF3.

My CPU is 52C degrees under 100% load when running Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. I didnt get to test BF4 so much but i think temps were as usual 45C degrees. It seems pretty low. IDK why. Under stress test its 4,2ghz. I dont think i am just very lucky. I think there is something wrong. Under stress test CPU-Z shows voltage is 1.152. I will change it to 1.2 and see how it goes.

In addition to Nvidia Control Panel, try set Power management = prefer max. performance, or you may Allow = Texture filtering - negative LOS bias.

Try FRAPs (trial version) for frame rate & RealTemp or CoreTemp.. So you can compare the readings.

I think Nvidia Shadowplay readings are most correct because shadowplay uses built-in chip into GPU and the reading should be correct.

Hmm...I played BF4 now and recorded with MSI afterburner. IDK what to think its all weird

CPU usage is about 50% on 2 first cores and 30% on other 2 cores on average. GPU usage is 50%avg and power usage is 50%avg. Although there are some things used to top and they are Core Clock and it is 1532mhz and pagefile usage and it is 8733MB.

I have GTX 970
Intel i7 4790k
8GB of ram.
