A co-worker of mine offered to sell me his seldom used gaming Pc , keep in mind this would not be my primary gaming pc but something for guests to use. He is asking $300 but would probably accept $250. Not sure if its worth scooping up and perhaps upgrading the GPU or if I should pass. Here's the guts, Thanks guys.

CPU - FX-6100 " i know
GPU - HD 6850 " i Know
RAM - 8 GB corsair XXX
MB - XXX
Razer Naga Mouse
Razer Lycosa Keyboard

Thoughts? Opinions? I appreciate the comments. I'm thinking throw a HD7950 at it and use it , or hold off and wait till I upgrade my current rig. Then I could throw my fx 8350 & Hd 7970 on this MB and have 2 decent rigs.

More about : good deal advice

When you really want another pc I would rather buy it at a different place. It's maybe a little bit cheaper from your friend. But for 350 bucks (without gpu) you can already buy some ok stuff. And things like guarantee are pretty important too.

It has a GPU - Sapphire 6850 , its dated but it will work. Little brother mentioned today he'd like something to get into Pc gaming so he can start with this i think and move on from there. he wont be running on ultra...or high lol but i think it will fit the bill. Afterwards I could use it as an office pc, I could use an extra anyway. Thanks for the advice
