Is my RAM bottle necking my gaming experience?

I have a pretty decent mid range gaming system that consists of a FX-8320 and a single R9 280x running off of Windows 7, here's where my question comes into play. Can my 6gb of crucial value RAM (2x2gb, 2x1gb at 1333mhz) bottleneck either my cpu and or gpu? I feel as though when gaming I'm not getting the frame rates I think I should, thanks.

Also can my CPU and or GPU be bottlenecks for each other as well?

No the CPU or GPU aren't bottlenecking the other. RAM doesn't give frame rates and 6 GB is enough for gaming unless there is multi-tasking going in background. The frame-rate problem seems to be from other things. What frame-rate are you expecting, in what games?

Well say for example the new evil within game that just came out I've been playing it at 1360x768 because my monitor is getting replaced and im expecting it to stay rock stable given my system but its very jittery and not really smooth at all. Same thing with Ryse and final fantasy xiii, they just came out decided to give them a try and both are very jittery and frames are everywhere while gaming. It could just be a optimization thing but I honestly wouldn't know.

Yes the majority of stability issues is when I am gaming, and my drivers are up to date to the latest stable release catalyst, Haven't tried the new beta drivers however. I try to stay with the stable builds of the drivers. My graphics card only has one hdmi port the rest are mini display and dvi, it is a XFX black edition r9 280x if that helps any.
