C Drive deleted

In our pc we used C drive for OS installation and all the data storage purposes,While installing xp accidently i deleted the C partition, now now am trying to install the XP os, but it is showing that there si no drives to perform the action.....how can i get back my C drive...

if you need the old data off of it that is entirely different answer and procdure.

trying to remember xp installation but if i remember right durring installation it will show a storage with xx number of space it can hold and if you would like to format it and use it. you need to select that and let it format it over and then it should install.

if it shows durring installation an area of information (space) that is there but not usable it may be that XP doesn't know what to do with it and you may have to delete the space just to then reuse it. Also, you may have to select a smaller size partition than the full amount if it is a real large drive due to XP not being able to see/use larger current drives.....

is there a reason you need to put xp back on there....i do not think you can get service pack 3 anymore due to no support. if you just want a computer for someone (example a kid to play with on internet) check out Ubuntu linix or something, free, current technology and can breathe life into an old system due to it's architecure
