I would just like to let you all know that I live in South Africa and my buying options are limited to these two CPU coolers.

Specs
Case: Corsair 780T
Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme rev 3.0
CPU: Intel i7 2600
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 12GB (3x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz (cmz12gx3m3a1600c9)
GPU: Asus GTX 570 Direct CUii
Power Supply: Corsair GS800
CPU Cooler: Stock
HDD: 1 x 3TB WD, 2 x 1TB WD

This build, excluding the case is nearly 2 years old. It was also my first build.
I do realize that the RAM I bought seems to be triple channel and my Mobo supports Duel channel.
I am looking to upgrade the other components next year.

Now to my main question.

Which of these coolers would be best?
I have read multiple posts on this site as well as reviews on both the coolers. The performance is relatively the same but the noise for the Corsair is apparently much louder. I am using my computer for gaming.

Cost is not the issue and noise shouldn't be a problem because I plan to buy the Quiet versions of the corsair fans. I plan to use the original fans in the top of my case for a push-pull configuration. I am new to water cooling and don't know if it's possible with my case. I will research push-pull now. I like the look of either.

TBH I am leaning towards the Corsiar H100i, not because it appears I am a FanBoy but I find the whole idea of water cooling awesome and want something that will last. There are many mixed opinions so I figured I'd post on here to see what you all think. Take into consideration I will be upgrading soon; to what I don't know and I've never overclocked but would like to maybe do a little in the future, nothing serious though.

I thank you all in advance for your input.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have seen the above post and numerous other questions on this topic. Tiny Tom Logan from overclock3D, I think the reviewer was who tested the Corsair H100i extensively and said it was a good cooler especially with the quieter fans.

But Many topics keep saying "Google search Corsair H100i leaks" etc and this is my main concern.

Also would the original Corsair H100i fans fit in the top of my case. I understand this question is easily answered just new to all of this.

You shoulda said leaks were a worry in your OP. How old were the posts with leaks? What response was there from Corsair?

I think you'll find it was with old coolers. Not with current H100i's. And Corsair apparently guarantee if there's a leak, they'll replace all damaged parts.

I am not too concerned with leaks TBH but when considering water cooling you have to look at the worse case scenario. Companies rarely allow faulty products to spread through he market quickly where they can tarnish the companies reputation. I have read a few posts again with mixed results but I have used Corsair's products before and they have not failed me. The majority of posts got their issues sorted so that is a good sign. There were a few from this year but primarily last year.

I guess I mainly asked this question to get some feedback from other users and their opinions but haven't set it out like that.

So with that narrowed down my main question would be. Has anyone mounted a H100i in a Corsair 780T?

I found this link, http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2328859/h100i-corsair-graphite-780t.html, but I'm getting 500 error?

Edit: I just opened the link and got my answer.
