hy i use my desktop for some years now with motherboard asus maximus 4 extreme ..i use gigabyte amd radeon hd6990 graphic card on the following system:
windows 7 pro i7-2600k intel core cpu 3.40GHz memory: g-skill 16gig ram speeds can be overclocked
cpu cooler scythe susanoo, 2x SDD OCZ Vertex3 240giga each,
fan air cooled based case by antec, power supply also by antec qautro 1200 watt

i want to upgrade vid card into 2x ati newer cards for going crossfire with or sli, preferd those customized by asus for performance if possible, cards that are compatible with my motherboard... else just wanna know whats best for my setup to go upgrade for high end gaming on multiple screens in high resolutions what monitors i should buy to play games also a better cpu cooler should mine not be that good annymore or go for water cooled, maybe change ram memory
also budget is no concern to me but price/value is something worth mentioning ofcourse.

thanks in advance i apreciate what you guys do for the comunity helping out people like me since you guys are the best to go ask first for knowing whats best arround for.

manny greetings

Solution
I'd go for higher frame refreshes (60Hz or higher) and low response time (anything under 5ms), tri monitor display would be immersive and great for gaming. Three of these would connect with ease to your card (via DVI or HDMI) and will be fine for the price:

Monitor: Acer G246HLAbd 60Hz 24.0" Monitor ($137.80 @ TigerDirect)
Hello, GTX 900 series has launched, and is seriously better than any AMD card in the market. GTX 970 or 980 SLI will smoke 290 CFX or 290X CFX resp. And guess what, they're 150W and 170W TDP cards with a price tag of $320 and $550 each!

They also run VERY cool and so don't require water cooling, MSI 970 4G SLI will better any AMD CFX in the market value/money and benefits wise.

thank you again meteor, this now leaves me just 1 question open and thats about monitors for multi screen play in high resolutions.
what should i go for, what kind of monitors? i know they have to have low responce time.
my current vid card is good but if i change card into GTX 980 in SLI then my options for choosing monitors could be diffrent.
looking forward on your opinion.

hello again with keeping the above in mind and the solution meteor gave which imo is such a great deal as those are so cheap now ... i was not satisfied with the responce time on the monitors (5ms) and i wanted to see if i could get better screens i found this one below in pole position but i found also the asus counterpart verry good simply for the fact ya can turn the asus verticaly thats a feature i like aswell so i had to choose between these..so for multi screen x4 for the near future i go with:

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-GN246HL-Bbid-24-inch-Widescreen/dp/B00KO4518I/ref=sr_1_7?
ie=UTF8&qid=1418508246&sr=8-7&keywords=acer+led+1ms+monitor#customerReviews

so what ya think of this find? it's a bit more expensive but the faster speeds are all worth it imo...ty again for all your help

Anything under 16ms response is good enough. That is because, if the monitor has 5ms response, it is capable of delivering upto 200Hz (theoritically ofc). 1sec consists of 1000ms, so anything under 16ms, will be capable of delivering atleast 1000/16=60+ Hz. You won't be able to distinguish b/w a 5ms and a 1ms monitor. I'd save my bucks here.
