i have a gigabyte H87n-wifi motherboard, an i3 intel processor, 8Gb of RAM and no graphics card. I am currently running Ubuntu, but i want to run Mac OS X. first i need to enter my bios, but when i press Del, i get a blank blue screen. If I press Esc, i get options and when I press System Setup i get the same blue screen. My motherboard has a dual bios system so the bios shouldn't be corrupted. I haven't upgraded the bios or over clocked anything, all I did was install Ubuntu. How can I get to the BIOS?

Solution
Bobby, you might be 13 years old, and by that time you should have learned how to read. Find your motherboard' manual, and look inside. Procedure about clearing the BIOS will be there, with picture of a jumper next to it.

If you don't know what you're doing - ask an adult for help.

first of all my name is Nathan not bobby and my motherboard manual says nothing about how to reset the bios because its a dual bios motherboard so it shouldnt be corrupted.

OK, Bobby (Oops - Nathan... My crystal ball got broken last week, so I had no idea your name is Nathan and not Bobby).

1. Go to Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI support page
2. Surprise - there's link to download the manual in several languages. I could read couple of them, but let's choose English.
3. Make a coffee (or tee, or milk) while the file is being downloaded. Download a PDF reader if you don't have one already.
4. Open that manual. Use "Search function" to look for "BIOS".
5. Another surprise - page 31/112 says "Clear CMOS Jumprer". Make a copy of that picture on your phone, for further reference.
6. OK, now we know what we're looking for. Turn off your PC, touch the back panel and unplug the power cable. Remove the cover, locate that jumper, and shorten it with the tip of a ballpen.
7. Plug back the power cord, turn on your PC, and change BIOS settings.
