Need help with dual monitors

Hi, I recently built a custom pc Specs:
(Replacing the Processor this week)

Corsair Carbide Spec Series - 01

Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3

WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD

Samsung Dvd writer

Cooler master fan

Corsair 500w psu

Amd Radeon sapphire 7770

Athlon ll X3 425

So the problem im having is that when i had my other PC I could connect a DVI cable To the graphics card and a VGA to the motherboard and dual monitors would work and games would play on the graphics card. Now im not sure how to do it with this motherboard, all i really want is just extra work space. I have tried going into the settings and tweaking with the M.I.T but to no avail. I currently have everything plugged in ready to go but i need to find the settings on how to do it. Currently the DVI cable goes To the graphics card and a VGA to the motherboard. Thanks everybody.

I would just take your graphics card and have both monitors hook up to it. Do not create an eyefinity profile. Just have windows extend your desktop.

Have one monitor be your primary monitor, the one you would like to have the game played on.

Don't use your integrated graphics card. If lack of ports is the problem, amazon sells amazon brand cables for cheap and they are super high quality. (I'm talking five dollars, shipped.)

I do that, I don't have a problem. I have a 1080p monitor w/ an hdmi, and a 1680x1050 monitor w/ dvi.

The thing is that both my monitors only support VGA, I dont want to go out and buy a HDMI/VGA converter so i wanted to do it this way if it was possible.

I don't believe you have an alternate option... If I am incorrect, someone please correct me. I don't think you can w/ your motherboard.

There are options that i can change to either onboard and GPU and there is also a surround view feature but it does nothing. Both monitors work perfectly fine and so do both video outputs.

There is a very complex process that does not work for all motherboards that must be followed to a point.

Here it is. I think you're out of luck though. You need to buy some cables or a converter. HDMI is a digital signal, VGA is analog.
