internal hard drive not getting deducted

One of my internal hard drive is not getting deducted in my pc. There's no noise coming from it. Its not even showing in bios. Help. How to repair it or atlseast get the data back. There's a minimum of 150gb of imp data in it.

With the SATA interface, there is no more Master/Slave concept.

@OP:
Power down and check ALL relevant connections. Possibly try a new cable or SATA port.

Please keep in mind that important data should always be backed up and never on the same device. The more copies of it that you have then the safer it is.

@USAFRet i tried changing the cable aswell. i unpluged it and pluged it in again but none of them worked. Any Other solutions?
@popatim i will keep it in mind in the future but now the data i cannot afford to loose. Any soltions in your mind?

Different cable - doesn't work
Different port - doesn't work

Try it with a different PC, connecting via a USB cable or dock.
If that fails, the drive itself may well be dead.

This is where you retrieve the data from your backup.

Hi there ASIF SURANI,

As USAFRet already suggested, the things left for you to try are: connecting it to another computer and connecting it externally through USB.
If these do not work, I am afraid that you should contact a data recovery firm in case you need the data and hope it is recoverable.

can u feel the drive spinning up or vibrating?
If so, is it making clicking noises?
