Hi,
This is my first post :)  and i hope that someone can help me.

I want to build a gaming pc and this is my first time but before buying the components, I would like to know/hear your opinion on this build, if i need to change some of the parts?
Do i need anything else (like cpu air/water cooling or thermal paste)?
How long will it last, if i want to play on high settings?

Or should i buy cheaper components and exchange the parts more often? (would that be better price wise)

All fine, probably overkill on the ram. No need for an extra cooler unless you're going to be overclocking.
980 might be a bit much depending on your display. 970 will do fine for 1080p, but if the 980 is in your price range go ahead.
Also, no storage HD? That 250gb SSD is a good choice but won't leave you with much room as time goes on, unless you're more of a minimalist than most people.

All good, Though I could go for a different 600W PSU.

You can choose from this list. Any PSU from either Tier1 or Tier 2 Class A, just search the manufacturer name + the series name + 600W on google.

This is the list : http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1804779/power-su...
