Good day ,
First of all thank you in advance for reading this and your time , I hope i can get a solution on this issue that has been bugging me for almost a year.

My PC current specs are : -

Windows 7 64 bit
6GB ddr3 ram
Amd Phenom x3 720
Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P
Gefore gt220
RS460-PSAR-13 ( Recent purchase to replace another PSU which is 500w but not a cheaper brand )

Symptom :-
I've been having this random crashes / Black screen ( sound still comes out but no display ) / BSOD from time to time ( during gaming time , after i exit a game , normal usage like watching movie or even browsing any websites ) .

Each time i had to hard restart the pc , and at times during restart , there will be a specific beep ( 3 beeps to be preicse , a long beep , small pause, 2 short one ( but fast ) ) coming out from the mobo and then the computer will continue to load but there will be no display coming out from the monitor .

At first i thought it was the PSU which was the issue , so i replace the old with a new one ( RS460-PSAR-13 ) . But after one or two month the same thing happened again.

My current workaround :-

Usually what i did was remove the DVI-A Male cable , press the start button ( to shut down the pc normally ) . Wait for a few minutes, plug in the cable back and turn on the PC( hoping the PC will start normally instead of the beeping sound coming out again and i have to restart the whole process ) . Getting tired of doing this :(

Additional advice needed :-

Please also advice should i or could i still replace my GPU . its a PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIE_16) (The PCI Express x16 slot conforms to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)
not sure if i can still replace this with the latest models of GPU as I have bought this pc for some time. ** Thank you for your help and assistance.

Solution
The beeps codes indicate a problem with your graphics card. If you have a spare graphics card that you know still works you could install it and see if it fixes the problem. I had a similar problem where my computer would boot normally but the screen would be black and nothing would show up. Similarly during intensive sessions the screen would just go black. It turned out that my problem was that my graphics card was overheating. I used MSI Afterburner to increase my fan speed and it solved my problem. Maybe this will solve your problem as well?
