Is this for gaming? If so you can save a few hundred and lose no performance at all.

Or add another gtx 970 to gain much more performance.

can't now but maybe in the future. This 9 series sounds very stables and efficent! :)  Saw a lot of good reviews about them

Why would he do that? A single 970 would easily max all games at his 1080p resolution.

I was going to recommend an i5, but you said you will do programming, so the i7 will be alright.

I recommend a cheaper board, MUCH cheaper RAM, Air cooler,

The motherboard won't be outdated faster than ANY other motherboard with the same chipset (z97). The ASUS Z97-A is VERY popular.

Air coolers are cheaper and quieter but perform the same or better than water coolers. I would get a Noctua NH-D15.

I was thinking about that mobo too but people told that hero vii is better for games. WHat I'm seeing, its not a huge difference so maybe i'll save some money and buy the Z97-a with the air cooler. Noctua are always big but for the HAF X, everything sounds... just fine :D

There is ZERO performance affect by the motherboard. It does not affect gameplay IN ANY WAY. Anyone who told you otherwise is a liar.

Thanks for your time and help.
I'm checking here the Vengeance Series. People saying that the Pro Series is worth the extra otherwise getting a g.skill or hyperX.
What do you think?

Only get low profile RAM. I avoid Corsair as they are overpriced.

ANY brand will be fine. They are all basically the same quality. The only thing to make sure of is that you get LOW PROFILE RAM.
