Sometimes when I turn my computer on and check the wireless area, my router is reset to linksys and no security. I have it set to a specific name and WEP security but it seems to lose it. It just lost it after as Windows update and reconfig. Can I prevent it from reverting.

Well it could be that the router is flaky, it could be that the firmware needs reflashed or it could be that you are using WEP security which is so weak they practically have "push this button to hack WEP" apps.
Thus once they hack into your router, the outsider then could easily gain access to your router and change settings or even issue a factory restore.
