I am going to buy graphic card and monitor
I have 2 options

1. Buy a 4k tn monitor pb287q and 2x gtx 970s
2. Buy a asus rog swift 144hz 1440p (expensive than 4k ) and a gtx 979 for now and another in 2 months

Really confused what would you sAy i personally think better to go with the rog swift as 144hz is great for smoothness and it has g sync also so it would be overall a pleasurable experience rather than lowering down setting on 4k and then playing on 40-50fps with 2x gtx 970

Is asus gtx 970 strix a good card ??

If I were you I would get the Asus ROG Swift and a GTX 970.

I say this because not many applications or software support 4k, making it hard to read due to the high resolution. Plus two GTX 970s won't be able to get good FPS at 4k.

Look at these benchmarks

One 970 gets good FPS at 1440p. Then just upgrade to SLI when you have the money.

Depends on your use case. I faced the same dilemma.

If you are watching movies, doing work (i.e. you want deskspace), or maybe playing rpgs or something - 4k may be a good choice. You have the option of the nice colors of IPS panels then.

If you are a twitch gamer, or you are more interested in frame rates than resolution, the Swift is a good choice.
