No, the card and CPU work fine together.

FX 6300 will bottleneck GTX 970 . So , you may have to overclock the FX 6300 .

It takes a ridiculous difference in CPU power to GPU power to bottle neck

if you havent bought FX 6300 yet , get Core i5 e.g. i5 4590

I have a budget and getting that CPU and a new motherboard goes over my budget

Stay with the GTX 970. You may want to upgrade your CPU to an FX-83xx in the future.

i would be happy even with R9 290 , under the condition that is much cheaper than GTX 970

I wouldn't worry about it honestly. Take a look into overclocking your cpu. Either card is great, just stick with what you can afford. I ran a 780gtx on a Core i3 no problem. Sure I could get more frames from a i5, but it still ran great.

Exactly. CPU Bottleneck is an over-worried issue. It simply means your GPU could possibly do better with a faster CPU. And then usually only in CPU limited games. Most modern A Class games are GPU limited anyway. If there's a CPU upgrade in your future, get the fastest card that you can afford and your PSU can handle.
