Hi guys,

Can't seem to find an answer anywhere else and having a very very frustrating problem, put together my new system the other day, components listed here:

Asus X99-Deluxe motherboard
Intel i7 5820K
16GB Corsair Dominator DDR4 Ram
EVGA GeForce 970 Super OC Graphics Card

The setup runs like this, display port to ini display port into a Dell U2414H, which is daisy chained to another Dell U2414H

Now when I first put the system together everything booted fine, system booted into the UEFI
However noticed strange issue where when rebooting the computer, the monitors would go to sleep and not display anything, however switching the computer off and on fixed that
Proceeded to install Windows, installed all drivers and installed windows updates
However now when booting the computer the computer boots, akes all the sounds, all the fans switch on etc however the monitors will not wake. No matter what I do, no splash screen, no UEFI, nothing. The monitors just recognise the computer as sleeping and go into power saver mode when I disconnect and reconnect the cables.

Here are the steps I've taken so far to try to resolve:
- Cleared motherboard CMOS
-Tried monitors with a MacBook, works fine using same Display Port cables

This elaves me a bit stuck, I have a suspicion that the motherboard or graphics card may have come faulty, however I don't want to jump to that conclusion, does anyone have any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks guys!

Oh OK... Sorry about not reading carefully..

Well, try this first..

Re-seat the Gpu "removing then putting it back", and re plug the pci-e power connection..

If still no video ouput, then
Use one stick of ram stick on all slots .. Check each by trying to boot

Post again with the results..

There's no onboard graphics on X99 boards, also monitors won't wake for BIOS either, i can switch on the tower and the monitors will not respond at all :/ So relaistically I have no idea if it boots into Windows or not

Hi thanks for the advice, only just got round to trying this and initially thought it had worked...

Basically, reseated the GPU and switched the pc back on, and the monitor woke and the computer booted!

Windows however was showing as corrupted so refreshed Windows 8.1 and started again

Started install of drivers again, and a few restarts in the same problem again, except this time reseating the GPU did not work :(

Any idea?

Try rebooting a couple of times to just make sure..

First, you need to access the bios to confirm every component is detected by the motherboard via the hardware monitor in the bios

Next, do you have any other windiws installer?

If reseating no loger works to prompt a video ouput, then try with a different power supply if you can..

In fact, post the model of your power supply
