Hi,

I have AMD FX 8350 CPU and currently looking for a good budget motherboard. I have my eyes on the Gigabyte GA-970A but apparently there are three versions of the motherboard in the market namely Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3, Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P and Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P. So I'm confused which one would be better for my CPU?

N.B. I have a SAPPHIRE R9-270X 2GB GDDR5 256BIT DUAL-X BOOST & OC and 2 Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM...

Please guide me through this....Peace...!!!!

The difference is going to be minimal. There will probably be audio differences but the features will remain relatively the same. I would be the cheapest one.

GA-970A-DS3 does not support the FX-8350.

GA-970A-DS3P has Split Power Plane, 4+1 phase VRM design.

GA-970A-UD3P has Split Power Plane, 8+2 phase VRM which is Gigabytes best power design.
