Build now or wait until holiday season?

Hello all,

I recently started playing computer games again. I'd been running them off my HTPC because I wasn't sure if it was something I was going to keep up with. I've decided that I'm going to keep up with it and need to build a desktop PC (nothing extravagent, just a $600 or so gaming build).

However, I read somewhere (an article on Tom's Hardware, I think) that computer parts tend to rise in the fall as we approach American Thanksgiving. If I were to build something like this:

How much would it drop after Thanksgiving? More than $50? I ask because my HTPC case is obviously a tight fit, which makes air flow a problem. Using HWMonitor, I can see most of the parts are operating at 60 C or less, but my processor (AMD A4-5300) is about 85 C when playing. I've had no problems for the past six weeks, but I'm worried if I keep it up long term (another 7 weeks until Thanksgiving). Is the danger significant enough that I build this desktop PC sooner rather than later, or is the risk relatively minor and the holiday season savings large enough that I can wait?

Thanks for the advice.
